Student Success: That is all there is.

I hold a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and an MAT from the the University of Arkansas, Monticello. I worked in the information technology and aerospace industries before achieving a life-long goal of becoming a teacher.

I am heavily involved in student literacy through the Lit Lab program.

I live in Fayetteville with my lovely wife of 19 years and my three children, two dogs, two rabbits and two lizards.

I am teaching five sections of Physical Science this year.  Physical Science is one semester of basic chemistry and one semester of basic physics.  It is an excellent prepatory class for biology, chemistry and physics.  It is taken primarily during the 9th grade.

I am also teaching one section of AP Physics B.  This is an algebra-based physics class which can earn the student up to 8 hours of college credit.  It is the functional equivalent of "college physics".

I send out lots of important information for my class through facebook and twitter.
